Staff training helps prevent conflicts between the public and staff. Equipping staff with an alert system is intended to streamline communication and the transmission of emergency alerts.

PTI Athéna alert beacons address a variety of risks through their SOS alert button and an audible alarm system designed for managing major incidents.
The system was designed specifically to ensure the safety of lone workers and employees, with a direct link to the appropriate emergency services and emergency contacts.
The “man-down” feature triggers a call to the remote assistance service. A text message and an automated call are sent to the pre-designated emergency contacts. Each time an alert is triggered, the user’s location is pinpointed so that assistance can be provided as quickly as possible; the remote assistance service assesses the urgency of the situation and coordinates with emergency responders.
